Once upon a time, in a place not too far away, there lived two of the most beautiful girls in the whole wide world. So beautiful inside and out were they that they could have had the love of any man in the entire kingdom. But, instead, both of them pledged their complete devotion to the same man. He was a hero of the type of olden days… the big, strong, not-so-silent type.

 

This marvelous man was known throughout the land as simply, Daddy.

 

Daddy would tickle feet, play sock puppets, kiss away boo-boos, and play all sorts of magical games. And, it must be told, Daddy even looked wonderful dressed up as a fairy princess. But the biggest power Daddy possessed was his ability to transform the dreaded ritual of bed time into a wonderful world of imagination with vivid characters and varied voices. So it was that Daddy was called upon again and again to be the master storyteller for bed-time.

 

If you ever find yourself feeling a bit nostalgic for your own youthful nights filled with bed-time stories, just grab your favorite stuffed animal or blankie, and take a moment to listen to the most oft requested story of the moment… which will periodically change along with the whims of two of the most beautiful girls in the whole wide world.
